Peacocks Black Friday statistical analysis from the Black Friday expert:
Anyone who loves sales, loves peacocks. They have some of the way this trend in sales almost every week both in store and online. The fashion retailer has been a staple of our high streets for decades now, and their online presence has also been going over the last five years. This is some pot reflected in the Black Friday visitor numbers we have observed. In the UK, black Friday only appeared in 2014, and peacocks on the adopted in 2015. In 2014 they got around 10000 people visiting their website on Black Friday looking for deals and discounts, this increased over 300% to 38000 people in 2015. This was to be there peak as there was a slight decrease of 40% in 2016. We don't know the exact reasons behind the slight decrease last year, however we can hypothesize it may have been stronger competition from competitors, online promotion or the fact was a 20% off everything sale. That is not say 20% off as a bad discount, just other retailers have been featuring larger reductions which also happened to be non-site wide.
Peacocks Black Friday last year:
Peacocks is known for having sales running multiple times throughout the year, often on different sections of their clothing lines, for instance at the start of November peacocks at 20% off dresses and bags, had on the 14th they're 20% off women's fashion online only. Interestingly one week before Black Friday, peacocks had 20% off all full priced items which was on the 19th of November, and this was succeeded by the Black Friday sale which started on weddings day 23rd of November, and this feature 20% off everything including sale items.
Some of the sale items had as much as 50% off, and with the extra 20% made the total saving 60% off. So the main difference between the mid November sale and Black Friday sale was the edition of sale items which had a discount. The sale ran for one week until the 30th of November, where it was succeeded by an up to 30% off selected items sale. The sale followed on into December, where there was up to 30% off everything on the 2nd until the 5th. Towards the end of December they had additional discounts on party wear, shirts and gifts. Culminating with the boxing day sale which started on Christmas Day. This feature day sale tu 50% off.
Peacocks Black Friday delivery:

Peacocks Black Friday 2017 sale summary:
Peacocks remains one of my favourite High Street online retailers, the clothing tends to be slightly cheaper, however, the quality of most items is above average. Additionally, the frequency of sales they have, especially online, means you can grab a bargain anytime of the year. This may go some way to explain why they sort a drop in them black Friday sales visitors, but there could be other explanations which I am overlooking. We predict that the sale will start on Wednesday 22nd of November 2017, what's the average discount on being around 50% off.
