Laura Ashley Black Friday statistics by the Black Friday expert:
Laura Ashley is a staple household name for excellent homeware and fashion. However we must say that the black Friday traffic to their website is somewhat underwhelming compared to The Prestige of the company itself. It should be noted that our statistics may be inaccurate however we will continue this piece on the pretence that they are. Laura Ashley adopted Black Friday in 2014, they saw visitor numbers to the website off around 13,000 people. The following year there was an 85% increase in the number of consumers looking for Laura Ashley Black Friday sales and this plateaued last year with around 30000 people on the website that day. Laura Ashley was the 43rd largest Black Friday sale in the UK, we feel it should break through the plateau this year and have sizeable growth. Perhaps one reason for the modest sales searches is because Laura Ashley often has discounts throughout the year. These sales tend to have a good discount often sitewide, around 30 to 40% off. We personally love the quality of Laura Ashley homeware and their clothing Lines.
Laura Ashley Black Friday sale 2016:
On the 4th of November, laura Ashley featured a 30% off sale on fashion. This was succeeded by 30% of Home and fashion sale which started on the 22nd of November.
We really consider this to be the start of the Black Friday sale. So that will be the Tuesday. Bicchiere suspect the sale will start possibly on the 23rd of November if the trend continues. On Black Friday itself, laura Ashley discounted a further 10%. Normally you would think the extra 10% would be a good deal, but if you are looking at fashion items you may wish to act earlier as sizes and styles can be limited. When it comes to larger items like sofas we feel it is best to wait until Black Friday itself. Laura Ashley is also retailer so heavily discounts on the run up to Christmas, last year they had the 12 days of Christmas theme, which included a 50% off sale on the 8th of December 2016. On the 22nd of December, 4 days prior to Boxing Day, we had an up to 50% off sale. This was on selected items however, and not a solid 30% off which was featured on Black Friday.
Laura Ashley click and collect and delivery:
There isn't the option for click and collect on Black Friday purchases. Nor is there free delivery on orders over a certain amount. Free standard delivery is £4.50, and that takes 3 to 5 working days.
